I am currently doing some research for a friend of mine on her "Lee & Asbury" families. I am having trouble finding much at all on her Lee lineage. What I do have is this: Lucy Catherine Lee b. 28 Apr 1866 Hays Co., TX, d. 07 Jul 1934, TX. She married: Spencer Brown "Bud" Asbury b. 05 Mar 1852 in Leon Co., TX, d. 21 Jan 1919 Falls Co., TX? Lucy's parents are: Jeremiah W. "Jerry" Lee and Mary Albina Garrett. I have her parents' birth and death dates, but nothing much on Jerry's parents. Jerry's parents were (according to what I've found online): Robert Edward Lee b. Tennessee, d. Hays Co., TX., and Charissa Robinson?? Like Jerry, Robert was also a Confederate Solider. I cannot find anything else on Robert or this "Charissa". I have found a couple of things that suggested that a man by the name of Rev. David Lee may have been Robert's father...but nothing solid. I'm hoping someone reading this will have some kind of info. on this family. I do have a photo of Lucy Catherine Lee I will share...along with a photo of Earnest Shelton Asbury (son of Lucy and Spencer). Earnest married Etta H. Havens. Thank you, Shelly Belk
