Jo, I do not have any direct information on your Sarah Abbie Lecroy, however, I have found a listing in the 1850 Clinton Co. IL census, 68th Dist for Wesley LeCroy, age 12, born IL who was living with John Hill, a 27 year old farmer who was born in TN. John's wife was Mary Ann, age 24, born OH; a son James K.P., age 5; Sarah, age 3; and Louise, age 1. All the children were born in IL. Also Ephraim Lecroy married Jane Pool in Bond Co. IL in 1843. Please write again if you think that I could help you further. Carol Brewer I have very little information on Lecroys who lived IL. A good many members of the family and the LaCroix family lived in TN during that time period though.
