Hi Peter Okay, I hope I can keep this straight and not confuse you. Please bear with me. The 1mo(May) means Lemuel was 1 month old and born in May of that census year(1880). His marriage record shows he was born 5/20/1880. There is a William H. and a Charles F. who had their license obtained by Lemuel Layman besides your Gaylord. There is a Lemuel Grimes Layman Sr. who died in May of 1911 in Marion Co. aged 83yrs, 7 mo and 15 days. His funeral was 5/6/1911. He was born 7/19/1827 in Bettsville(looks like), Pa. and came to Marion Co. in 1871. He married Isabella McClay 6/1/1847. He died of acute gastritis and heart trouble. His children were Ella Eager, William H., Lemuel Grimes Jr, Charles F. and Gale.(You have the William H. and Charles F. If Gale is suppose to be Gaylord, this is probably G.'s father). The Lemuel Grimes Jr. died 6/24/1921 age 68. He was born in Richland Co. and md Ida Chambers 12/4/1884. Eutokah's parents are Cazman Gideon Brady and Elizabeth Crabb/Grabb. She was born 11/18/1881. Cazman & Elizabeth were married 6/4/1874. C. Gideon Brady d.8/14/1905 age 54, liver cancer. It says his wife died 2yrs prior(which explains why 9yr old Ivi was living with her sister in 1910). The children were Wallace, James, John(b.11/4/1879 d.12/1963 bd Pleasant Hill Cem), Eutokah, Leota, Gideon and Joy. Hope this helps some and proves to be info you can use. Peg
