Hello, My LATTA branch is #12 and my family is from William Latta from "HISTORIC LATTA PLACE", HUNTERSVILLE,NC. Its a darn good chance you will find your branch from there. Two boys came from Ireland with their father, James Latta. William and Robert's mother was Elizabeth Houston of Ireland and later James married Jane Knox in NC and they had children. There was a man that married two sisters after the one died. VERY confusing as such. Well to do family. Contact me if you like. I lost alot of my records when my computer crashed. Regards.
