I am researching my mother's line of Lasleys from Kentucky. So far I have documented with sources five generations of ancestors. 1st Gen: LeOna LASLEY b. 1914, Elizabethtown, KY (my mother plus her four siblings) 2nd Gen: Charles Yarrot LASLEY, b.1886, KY 3rd Gen: Samuel T. LASLEY, b. 1856, KY 4th Gen: John LASLEY b. 1834, KY 5th Gen: Samuel P. LASLEY, b. abt 1803, KY. In the 1880 census Samuel P. Lasley states that his parents were born in Virginia. I'd greatly appreciate any information on this line of Lasleys. I will be attending the Kentucky Genealogical Society annual seminar in August and conducting on-site research on the Lasley line.
