David, I don't have a lot of information. I can understand why you have been searching so long. Alexander Lamotte b 3-21-1833 d 9-15-1907 married Mary Jane Sage. Children: George A Lamotte b 8-15-1861 Margaret Elizabeth Lamotte b 9-16-1862 d 1-9-1945 Louis H Lamotte b 6-28-1865 Joseph A Lamotte b 5-25-1868 Lizzie Jane Lamotte b 3-7-1871 Catherine A Lamotte b 1-29-1873 William H Lamotte b 4-2-1875 John M Lamotte b 8-3-1879 Do you recognize any of these Lamotte's?
