Hi Tony thank for the information,when i received your message i when to look in a book of Ripon that i own and i found Felix father Joseph Lafontaine married to Josette Lanthier Joseph was born in 1811 died in dec 7 1886 buried dec 9 1886 St-Casimir de Ripon Quebec Canada,at the age of 75 years 8 month and 17 days :) Josette died before him but when ? ,there more on the Lafontaine but to long for this forum , if i could help e-mail me put- subject Lafontaine of Ripon search as for Sophie Deguire my own line i got a Gabriel Deguire married to Adelaide Chenier on jan 30 1826 Gabriel died in 1877 , i can comfirme that but it could be possible,if Sophie and Felix got married on feb 6 1860 Clarence Creek it could be if anybody could put some light on this mystery it would be apprecieted
