Hi John, Don't think we have a connection although I haven't gotten anywhere researching my ggrandmother Conradene Laabs. Her parents were Bernhardt Laabs & Augusta Krenig. She married my ggf Ivo Hofmann in Rochester NY. Family history says that she used to be Von Laabs??? Do you have any background on the meaning of Laabs? Also, do a search for Steve Lacy's website. I know that he is also researching Laabs. Don't have his address but a search should work. Good luck.
