I am offering to pay for a 35 Y-DNA marker test for a direct male descendant of Jarrett Dean who died in Talladega Co., AL and who has descendants in Louisiana. The test will be done by www.familytreedna.com There are attempts to prove as fact the ancestry of Jarrett. Many theories of the past have stated he is kin to other particular Deans, but no factual records of any kind have been found to support any claims.
