Dear Mary: You certainly are a Kentucky pro - that Charles Degray is my GGGrandfather!!! All of the Degray census information for earlier years fits. What a Memorial Day weekend this turned out to be.....I have spent two years researching my Bradley line and always a dead end. Then this!!! I can't thank all who responded enough for this info. Now, the mystery does begin. Charles died in 1878 - in 1880 his wife was a Bradley and a widow - could she have married and widowed again in less than a two year period? Maybe. Or, did Charles change the family name for some reason. The mystery continues.......... Many thanks again.
