Chas, Thanks again. I tried your link to the Nelson Co. Roundtable, but it is dead. Tried to paste it into my address bar with the same result. Is there another way I can get to it? I have no solid reason to look into the Hardin Creek area, just a hunch which may or may not be correct. At this point, hunches are as good as anything. I read in the Webb book about a diary kept by a Philip Lee during the migration. It apparently makes frequent mention of the Browns. Wish I could find it online. It might prove interesting. I am in the process of contacting Ms Caswell. Hope she responds. More later.
