I don't know if this will be of any help or not but my 5th Great uncle, Evan Williams was in Nelson Co. Ky, he was brother of my 5th great grandfather Edward Williams, born 1760, they were born in Wales, Edward in 1760 I don't have Evan's birth date at hand, Evan was Kentucky Bourbon pioneer along with Rev. Elijah Craig and William Heavenhill. Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc. still produces " Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey", I have more on the Williams family if you think this will help, my branch of the family ended up in Ohio Co.
