Washington County Deed Book 5.501
13 Nov 1799 - Jeremiah Masterson & wife Mary sold 150 ac on Trace Creek of Rolling Fork to William McLean.
Nelson County Deed Book 18.128-130
Aug 1827 - Children of William McLean [Polly White, William McLean (wife Ann), and Isaac McLean (wife Elizabeth)] sold their inheritance [150 acres our father Wm. McLean purchased from Jeremiah Masterson 1799] to John McLean.
Who was John McLean? Interested someone with early deed abstract books to see when John McLean disposed of this property (to see if it provided any clues as to who he was). Would anyone be working on the McLains (any spelling) from this area? If so, would like to correpond with you.
