Karen, since you refer to your daughter's ancestors on her father's side, I am presupposing your maiden name was not Bays, but you married Bays. In any event I would like to know the Bays ancestors of you or your husband. I grew up in Lee County,VA., just across the mountain and have been doing Bays research, off and on, for thirty year and would be glad to share what I have. Chet
