Hello I'm new to searching on my father's side of the family. The only information I have thus far is the following: My Grandfather was Miles Bordy Martin. Born November 18, 1894. He died November 09, 1960. He was married to Evelyn Gibson(8/16/1910-12/19/1985). They had 10 children, one of which was my father Ralph. Miles' father(My Great-Grandfather) was Dial Franklin Martin. Born June 18, 1868. He died March 01, 1953. He was married to Elizabeth "Girlie" Allen(6/8/1874-9/15/1928). They had 12 children. I am searching for any information on Dial's father. His name was Joseph Martin. People referred to him as "Big Joe". He married a woman named Arminta Hayes(I believe that spelling is correct). I would appreciate any information anyone has!!
