My information shows that James and Nancy West Williams had a daughter named Nancy B. b. around 1803. I can not confirm that she married John Miller, Jr. The problem is some info I have that states:
Know all men by these presents, that we John Miller and John Rasco are held & firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the penal sum of fifty pounds.....this 7th day of November, 1823......whereas there is about to issued from the Clerk's office of the Christian County Court, a licence for a marriage short intended to be solemnized between the above bound John Miller and Nancy B. Williams.
The problem is there was also, I am told, a small handwritten note with the license that said:
"The clerk of the county court will be so good to issue license upon John Miller to marry my daughter.
Signed: Elizabeth Williams"
Elizabeth Williams would not be the mother of the Nancy B. Williams, daughter of James and Nancy West Williams. Nancy West Williams died around 1820 and James Williams remarried to Susannah Grisham in 1823. So we do not know who Elizabeth Williams or her daughter Nancy B. Williams that married John Miller are.
We are still searching for the parents of James Williams and Nancy West Williams.
