I have a web site devoted to THOMPSON and variations in Christian, Todd, and Trigg Cos., KY:

http://dgmweb.net/genealogy/0/Thompson/ChristianToddTriggKY.htm

The site includes a table of every THOMPSON (or variation) in the 1810 through 1850 censuses of the three counties:

http://dgmweb.net/genealogy/0/Thompson/Census.htm

with names linked to family group sheets of every family I've been able to identify.

Keep in mind that THOMPSON, THOMSON, TOMSON, TOMPSON, THOMASON, and THOMMASON were essentially interchangeable in early records. That said, there is only one THOMASON and one THOMMASON occurring in the censuses of the three counties between 1810 and 1850, and both occur only in the 1840 census of Christian Co. Their names were Garrison THOMMASON (300011-01001) and Joel THOMASON (10001-00120101 -- Joel obviously has his mother or mother-in-law living with him).

Do you know where your THOMASONs were in the 1850 census? Do you know the names of Sarah's and Nancy's husbands? I would like to identify Garrison's and Joel's families, even though their presence in Christian Co. was fleeting.
