Hi Deborah,
We checked our catholic cemetery listings for St Stephen Cem. and found no listing. We checked non-denominational cemetery listings for Evergreen Cem. and found no listing. We checked listings in Newport of the older abandoned cemeteries and found no listings.
The Kenton County, KY Library in Covington has microfilm records of all the local newspaper during that period. You might want to contact them for your obituary. They are located at 5th & Scott Sts in Covington, KY (859) 962-4060. There might be a fee.
Death records were not always kept in Kentucky until 1911.
You might also want to check Cincinnati, Hamilton, OH cemeteries as some people were buried there because their families lived there.
Now, for the good news: We were able to find 2 marriage records....John F Donaldson and Nancy Gracy were married 1-6-1848 by TL with the bondsman being Samuel Gracy. Also found John Donelson and Anne Newton were married 8-20-1819 with bondsman being Lyman Rugg.
We found in the 1850 census:
Donaldson, John 28, Nancy 17, Samuel 1
Donaldson, Andrew 67, Catharine 65, William 10
Sorry we couldn't find more.
Good luck with your further research,
Martha & Jerry
