The 1850 Anderson census had a William Sparrow age 20 living with a William Smith family. Also, I found a Richard and Mary ages 21 and 20 living with a Wiatt family. They had a daughter Ellender age 6, and Sarah age 4. In 1860 they were apart from the other families and had several more children including a John age 8. The Sparrows that are grouped together on pages 524 and 525 are virtually impossible to read. I'll have to find another microfilm somewhere else. I think the Hamilton County Ohio library has a set. It's only 10 minutes from here, I'll try to get there this week. The only other George in 1850 was in Boyle County, but he wasn't your George.
The Sparrows came to Anderson County betwwen 1850 and 1860, evidently in a large group. There were 5 or 6 households next to each other. When you get time, I need to know the father of Elisha Herndon, and I have some major differences, particularly on Marie Gregg Herndon. I'm close enough to visit the Campbell Co. Cemeteries. Understand Elijah has an interesting Epitaph. Please feel free to E-mail me direct.
