Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it.
I was aware that because the death records in Kansas were only filed after 1911. I know we probably won't be able to find anything "government official", but we're hoping to find a newspaper obituary, a cemetery or burial record, etc. Even a distant relative or someone who has knowledge of our Benjamin Jantz. Every where we have looked, we've been coming up empty. I am going through the process of going through all his children and step children and trying to trace their lives to see if any clues to Benjamin Jantz are revealed. It is possiblee that after they came to America, Benjamin and his wife, just lived with relatives (that is why I am going through the census's I can find for children and grand-children). It also seems likely that Benjamin did not speak English. We can find information on most every other ancestor we've tried to research, but not him.
Thank you again! If I find anything further, I will post back here in case there are other relative out there looking for some of the same information.
