Charles McConnell.

Charles N. McCONNELL, 71, 1186 MacVicar, died Monday at his home.

Born April 5, 1889, near Dover, Mr. McConnell lived in Topeka all his life.

He was a member of Lowman Methodist Church, the American Legion and Veterans of World War I of the U.S., Jayhawk Barracks, No. 1113.

He retired in October after working 42 years with the Jordan Sunbeam Bakers.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alice J. McConnell of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie HUNT, 1832 Lincoln and Mrs. Dorothy J. MacGILL, 3221 Fremont; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lyde M. BRUCE, 1135 Plass; and one brother, Frank McConnell of Phoenix, Ariz.

Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary will announce service time.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
