Researching: George Wigal Fortner b. 1818 in WV. his wife Mary Ann Flinn. b. abot 1818 in WV died bef 1900. Possibly in Kansas. 1885 census has the Fortner living in St. John, KS. Their daughter Frances and husband Samuel G. Stevens moved from Fulton, IL to Stafford in the 1880's. Their children were: Mary Young (by Frances' first marriage) m. David Chesser, Orville G, Herbert "Wilbur", Maud, Inez, Zula Belle. Would love to exchange information! rutefortner@sbcglobal.net
