Thanks for your help. However, I don't think that George Krone came over to America until after 1853, according to Germans to America, there is a Gerhart Krone listed on the boat "sophie" that landed in NY in 1853. Kansas census records state George Krone came over in 1857. The 1857 could be an interpreter's error, but it certainly looks like 1857 to me! Thanks again! Peggy Askins
