Does anyone know for certain where HENRIETTA ELIZABETH KORNEGAY was born? Scott Co., MS has been guessed. Did she marry in MS or in TX. I'm told that she is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Eastland Co., TX. I know she and her husband THOMAS EDWARD BROWN were at least in Gause, Milam Co., TX long enough to have 2 sons, CALVIN BROWN (my grandfather) b. Sept. 16, 1886 and ROBERT EDWARD BROWN b. Sept. 25, 1889. Their son, WILLIAM GRANDVILLE BROWN (the family called him "Grandville") was born June 29, 1891 in Burnet Co., TX. Unknown place of birth for their daughter, ELLER PEARL BROWN b. March 21, 1894. Their son THOMAS NUTON BROWN died as an infant--birth place unknown. Anoter child b. June 9, 1901 died an infant as did a son, DANIEL WEBSTER BROWN b. June 21, 1906. However, on June 24, 1902, they had a daughter, HENRIETTA ELIZABETH "BETSY" BROWN while they were living in Greer/Jackson Co., TX. Any information on HENRIETTA ELIZABETH KORNEGAY is greatly apreciated. I do know that her parents are ROBERT ARNOLD KORNEGAY and SARAH C. NEEDHAM.
