Cpl. LaReau was my dad.I don't have a lot of information about his tour in Korea as he didn't talk much about it. Having recently learned that more happened there to him than we ever knew, we have decided to go on a search for all information we can find, and possibly find people who knew him. Dad passed away last April, and we all miss him greatly- a better man I've never known. I would love to know more about his time in Korea or Ft Eustis, Va, if anyone remembers him. to help- he was a short, skinny kid with dark hair from Illinois, but his physical stature had nothing to do with what a big man he was in my eyes. He was, and always will be my hero! And now, finding out that he did more than he said, I'm even more in awe of my mild mannered, un-assuming dear father. I do know of one army buddy he kept in touch with for a while- his name was Jacob Keller. Thanks all- and I do mean thanks for your or your loved one's service!
