Hello, I'm a military wife stationed in Germany. For the past five years I have been researching a United States Air Force MIA named Donald Lee Hart. Donald was a member of the 319th Bomb Squad, 17th Bomb Wing and was stationed at K-9 Pusan East. Donald, his plane and crew were lost over the Korean Bay on July 23, 1952 and were declared "died while missing" by the USAF over a year later. I am putting together a scrapbook about Donald and his life in the service to be donated to the USAF POW/MIA organization. I'm looking for anyone who knew Donald, or who can tell me about the life of a gunner in the Korean War. Anything would be wonderful! After all, a soldier is not dead until he is forgotten, and Donald will NEVER be forgotten!
