Hi,
I thought I had already replied, but couldn't find it.

I was probably born in 1973 and I'm female. I also spent a very brief time at Bethel Won in Taejon, but in May of 1975. I was transferred to a foster home and Holt in Seoul and adopted to Massachusetts in Oct. 1975. My Korean name and birthdate were probably made up.

Have you (or anyone else) been able to find out anything more about your families/history?

My adoptive family and I visited Bethel Won in 1983 very briefly and met the Reverend Ahn Che Kim. In 2000/2001? I went back to Bethel Won to find the Reverend again, but he had died a couple months earlier. By that time, it was no longer an orphanage.

Have you had any success searching with KCARE in Seoul? I have whatever records Holt gave me in 2000, thanks to a sympathetic KAD herself. What files were you "missing"?

Thanks,
Ty
