Hi Marilyn, I think we have corresponded in the past and your notes from the Blount County, TN ancestor listing helped me get started in the right direction on my research on Adam Kountz. I am also an Adam descendant through his daughter Dorothy Pauline (1802-1879) who married Michael French. As an update to what I have posted here, I found a 1769 marriage record of Henry Kuntz and Dorothy Pragunier in Cumberland County, PA. The date, location, and names are a good match for Adam's parents. Further research in Cumblerand and Lancaster Counties is needed. There are also records for a Henry Kuntz that was in the area in 1756 and could be Adam's grandfather. Roy
