Sabrina, The copy of the Will I have is almost unreadable and is packed away. I think I would have included the sons names on my post if they were included or my copy was readable. I was reading over your other posts and saw your questions about the Jacksons. I wanted to mention to you the part of Davidson County, that my Ancestors lived in was the Hermitage area, very, very close to Wilson County. Sarah Jackson presumed daughter of John Jackson and Lovis Koen married Jacob Felker in Davidson County, abt. 1817. Jacob Felker was the son of Mary Magdelene Earhart, his Father was Michael Felker. You will find M. Magdelene Earharts relatives living as neighbors to President Andrew Jacksons adopted sons family.( online 1850 Davidson County, Tn. census). Most of my Middle Tn. families moved to Western Ky. 1820s and 30s. Caldwell, Crittenden and Livingston Cos.. They also moved to Southern Il. When Jacob Felkers Mother Mary Magdelene Earheart Felker died in Wilson Co,Tn., 183?(not sure year), William Jackson represented Jacob Felker at the Estate settlement, A researcher once told me Andrew Jackson had alot of relatives, some in Western, Ky., there was oral family history that Andrew Jackson visited them on occasion. What is your Jackson line and have you found Koen/Cowens in your family?? Do you know if Andrew Jacksons Father have Brothers with him when he emigrated to America from Ireland?? Sandy |
