Sorry it has taken so long to respond. Just discovered your email today. The most obvious reason I am researching Knipps from Wisconsin is that they are my family. My maiden name was Knipp. Along with other Knipp family members, we have been working diligently to put the pieces of our tree together. Yes, your husband is related to the original Michael and Maria Knipp of Kewaunee.
