James Ketchen 1853-1917 (Midlothian) son of James KETCHEN & Jean PEDDIE m. 23 Apr 1846 Edinburgh married 1871 Parish of Penicuik, Midlothian Janet GIBB b. 1849, Markinch, Fife d. 1917, Penicuik dau. of Thomas Gibb (1816-1886) & Janet Grieve (1813-1855) Children: James Ketchen 1870-1956 m. Elizabeth Melrose GREIG in 1895 Thomas Gibb Ketchen 1872-1938 m. Annie Penman WALLACE in 1898 Peter Gibb Ketchen 1875-1947 m. Elizabeth Mitchell GOOD in 1895 John Gibb Ketchen 1877-1948 m. Margaret COCHRANE in 1904 Janet Grieve Ketchen 1881-1973 m Andrew Gilray ARTHUR in 1907 David Ketchen 1884=1963 m. Isabella Grant WATSON in 1907 My line is GIBB (Janet's older brother Peter Gibb was my ancestor) so I have little more on the Ketchen line except for dates of marriages and a few of the descendants.
