I have been lucky enough to receive from a Kousin several photo copies of Kirkes Kousins from 1986/88. These are great treasures because of the personal items that are included in each-from the old photographs to old letters. It is amazing how this family who probably grew from just one ancester in NC spread out across the country. What a remarkable family! On to my grandfather, Henry Kirkes. Looks like Henry may have had three wives and more children than previously indicated or else there was another Henry Kirkes in Henryetta OK in the 1920's. Does anyone have any information about this possible middle wife? If anyone wants a decent photo of Henry I have one. I will be glad to send it to anyone who asks.
