Hello, I own a very large oil painting on canvas here in New York City. It is 50 inches high by 40 inches wide. The subject matter: two sailboats, numbered sails, possibly racing sailboats, in a Stormy Sea. On one sail boat, from the body position of the people, you can tell the people on the boat are strong, capable, & confident. Beautifully done. Does anyone know anything about the artist/painter named Kenton? The painting is not new but I do not really know the age other then to guess by the condition of the painting that maybe it is 30 years old, possibly older. I am searching for information on "Kenton" the artist of the signed oil painting on canvas. It is not dated. You can view the oil painting at: http://www.weecompany.com/ant_col/cols_mu/col_oil_pntgs/kenton/kenton.htm Please contact me via fax: 718-429-3689 or via e-mail: ddag1822@verizon.net if you have any information on the artist. This would be highly appreciated. Sincerely, Ruth - June 21, 2005 |
