Hey Susie, i noticed there is a William Keith who is the right age (and who was born in Illinois) on the 1870 census for Richardson, Nebraska. http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#birthPlaceId=14;p=recordResults;givenName=william%20walter;birthYear=1860;birthPlace=Illinois%2C%20United%20States;searchId=43243651672442910000;searchType=standard;surname=keith Name: William Keith Estimated birth year: 1860 Gender: Male Age: 10y Race or color (expanded): White Birth place: Illinois Residence: Township 1, Range 14, Richardson, Nebraska, United States Collection: 1870 United States Census The head of the household appears to be Zed Keith (age 48 in 1870, born in Kentucky), with (probably) wife Louisiana (age 41 in 1870, born in Pennsylvania). Also in the house are Mary (21), Jacob H. (19), Zeph F. (18), John (13), William (10), Mary (11) [two Marys -- odd, unless one is not a sibling], Louisiana (8), Samuel (6), Edward (2), Sarah A. (6 months). All children born in Illinois except baby Sarah A., who was born in Nebraska.
