Have marriage certificate of Charles L. Keen & Alice Hapan/Hagan*. Married August 29, 1888 at teh Pine Level Courthouse. Filed at the Arcadia, DeSoto County Courthouse, FL. (At that time, Pine Level was the county seat) Alice's last name is spelled "Hapan" on the first line and then it is spelled "Hagan" on the second line. At the Arcadia Public Records office index it is spelled "Hagan" - but someone transcribed this from the original - which I have.
