I have a Johannes Nicholas Conatser (Kanatzer) born York Co., Pennsylvania 1747, having died about 1830 in Fentress Co., TN. He married his wife, Catherine Hainline born Rowan Co., NC, in Rowan Co., NC. Their childern were all born in Rowan Co. and he died 3 years before his wife and was buried in Fentress Co. (?) The children I have listed for them are: John, Jacob, George, and Evy. Catherine died in 1833 and was buried in Rowan Co., NC. I have to assume he was buried in Fentress Co. because of relatives, maybe they were visiting or relatives owned land there or something like that. Do these names or dates sound familiar to you?
