Laura, They may not be Yorkshire! George John Juggins senior (b.c.1855) actually married Fanny TEW in Wansworth, London 1876. She was the daughter of Thomas Tew and Mary Sene. George John had a sister, Fanny (b.1884, Battersea, London) who married my Gt.Grandfather, James Parker in 1904. She lived to be about 90! Interestingly James was in the Army and they went to India immediately - my Grandmother was born there. George John (who married Fanny Tew) was the son of another George John Juggins who was a waiter / publican / licenced victualler 1876-1904 ish- but then the trail goes cold, because I can't find a birth / baptism or marriage and George John (b.c.1855) doesn't appear to have been 'registered'. However, this does mean that your grandfather was the nephew of my Gt.Grandmother - so welcome to the family! Would love to hear from you. Clare |
