St. Charles (Illinois)​ Chronicle, Sept. 5, 1​902, Local Notes: Bruce Farson entertained a few of his friends with a stag dinner last Wednesday evening. The guests were James Andrews, Elmer Clark, George Satterlee, Carl Wettstein, Martin Long, Walter Judd, and Charlie Cope. After dinner was served the remainder of the evening was spent in singing, stories, and selections by the Junior Four mandolin club. A large amount of "the weed" was consumed and the boys gave Bruce a hearty send off for college.(Posted as a courtesy, not related.)
