In book OVERSEERS OF THE POOR 1818-1833, Tuscaloosa Co., AL;

August 1826 on page 13;
Ann Crosslin is listed as a pauper in Beat No 5 in 18th Regiment, $1.09 be allowed for her support.

August 1828 until August 1829 on page 17;
to Ann Crosslin $1.09 per month for her support.

December 1830 on page 22;
From August 1830 until August 1831, John Johnson to be paid one dollar sixtysix and 2/3 cents per month for the support of Mary Crossland, a pauper in Beat No 5 18th Regiment.

December 1832 on page 26;
Joseph Doughty, overseer of the poor in Beat No 5 18th Regt $1.662/3 per month for the support of Ann Crossland, and $4.00 per month for the support of Thomas Brown, both beginning on the second Monday in August last and ending 2nd Monday in August next.

Are Ann Crossland and Mary Crossland the same woman as both are listed as living in the same area.

I "assume" that this is Annie Johnson Crossland, mother of Meredith T. Crossland and Margaret Crossland Fox, sister to John Cottrell Johnson. Is this the daughter of James Moorman Johnson and Mariann Cottrell?

Later Ann Johnson Crossland moves to Mississippi,living with her brother John Cottrell Johnson in 1850 and daughter Margaret Fox in 1860.

Can anyone help with this line?
