Laurinda, Kimber Leroy JOHN was born 15 Oct 1838 in Shamokin, PA. He never married. He died 3 Mar 1870 in Marysville, Yuba County, CA. In his book, Clark E. John said he searched for his grave in Marysville and was unsuccessful. The Marysville newspaper "The Daily Appeal" wrote: "In this city, on the 3rd of March, 1870, K.L. John died, age 33, naitive of Illinois." I'm related to his brother Cefus. Rich Clingman
