Looking for family of Sarah "Sallie" Jenkins b. circa 1815 GA, mother b. VA father b. NC. Sarah m. Archibald/Archable Rumsey 07 Oct 1838 in Elbert CO GA. In the 1860-1870-1880 (Cherokee AL) census, Archie and Sallie had a Millie Jenkins living with them b. circa 1830 GA, mother b. VA father b. GA. She's listed as a daughter in one, but not in the rest. My theory is that she's a relative, but not a daughter. Archie and Sallie's children: Singleton B. b. 1839 GA Henry Wilson b. 1840 Elbert CO GA (per CSA documents) Samuel/Lemuel b. circa 1842 GA Mallie b. circa 1849 GA (Henry named one of his daughters Mallita) Does this sound familiar to anyone?
