Hello everyone and a very Happy New Year!

I am looking for someone who would be able to make a couple of photographs at the Archivio dello Stato in Roma.

I am interested in 2 documents.

The first one I know it is there by fact as I already own a transcription of the document (1 page). Today I would like to have a digital picture of the document.

the second one, is likely to be there as well (if it exists)

these are the military records of my ancestor who was in the Army of the Zouaves Pontificaux (Zuavi Pontifici). The archives regarding this regiment were originally in the Secret Archives of the Vatican but were then transfered to the Archivio dello Stato in Roma.

I have writen several times to the Archives but they never reply back and the transcription took over 6 months!
At this stage I am not even sure they will even read my emails although they did confirm they received it over the phone! I guess I have very little faith in their service!

I understand there is a fee to photograph documents and I have of course no problem to pay a reasonable price for any cost (transport etc.)

Many thanks in advance.

Romain
