Does anyone have documentation of the parentage of Isaac Ison who married Rebecca Ingram? I'm nearly positive it's not Gideon Ison Jr. as reported all over the internet and on the Ison Family Group Sheets. I'm guessing maybe Charles or Elijah but want some definitive proof. Also, many places report Isaac Ison wife as "Charity" Rebecca Ingram. I also think this is wrong. A "Charity Rebecca" Ingram married a Isaac S. Ison in 1822. I think this is a different Isaac Ison. The dates for this marriage are too late to be my Issac and Rebecca. Thanks, Patrick 1850 Perry Co Census 259 Isaae ISON 68 M Farmer Va. Rebecca 60 F Isaac 17 M Farmer Usstly 15 F Scott 13 M 1860 Isaac sr and rebecca are in Wise Co. VA 1860 1860 Wise Co VA census shows Isaac 75, Rebecca 64 and Scott 20.
