Gerald, I am curious how you have a copy of this letter, as my aunt showed it to no one except my cousin TJ a few years ago and certainly gave it to no one. There is no date on the letter.. Possibly it is not the same letter you are referring to? This letter was written on stationery with lines. Tell me more about the 1899 letter you have. Chris Chris
