My name is Michael McAloon I was born in Boston in 1847and my family history to date is as follows: My father
Ralph F McAloon B: 1919 in Kingman Me M: Rita Drapeau in 1943
his fatherJames J McAloon B: 1885 in New Brunswick Ca M:Murial Morris in 1913
his father John McAloon B:1846 in New Brunswick Ca M: Elisabeth in unk
his father Patrick McAloon B:1798 in Ireland M: Margaret Gallagher in 1839
This is where the trail ends so far we feel he and Margaret was from Co Farmaugh as most of the Irish around Frederickton New Brunswick, where they lived, came from there.
Earleist records show the McAloons coming to farmaugh and Derry Ireland from the Argyll area of Scotland where they had owned some land. Historical research shows that the Mac Giolla Eoins (The Gaelic of our name) of Argyll immigrated there from the ancient kingdom of Dal Riada in Ireland .
Any assistance here would be gratefully accepted.
