Hello Kathleen: The only possible matching M rcds for a John Kearney and Rose McNickle in Co. Derry are in 1853. These didn't occur in the same parish; therefore, the marriage(s) weren't to each other. For John Kearney B ????, Co. Derry, with the father's forename unknown, the two earliest surviving transcribed rcds are both in 1827. This seems too late for your timeline. Hope this helps. Good luck.
