You've probably seen the census returns for the Surridge family in 1911. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/reels/nai000116472/ Shaw's Dublin City Directory of 1850 has: Surridge Daniel, 44 Lower Mecklenburgh St (house painter) http://www.dublin1850.com/dublin1850/xdubdir81.html#Surridge Thom's Directory 1873 has: Surridge, F., cabinetmaker and photographic apparatus manufacturer, 35 Brunswick street, great The street listing in the same directory has: 35 Great Brunswick Street Surridge, Frederick, manufacturer of school apparatus, and general stationer Wilson's Dublin Directory of 1829 has Surridge, Daniel, painter and glazier, 6 Fownes Street Wilson's Dublin Directory of 1822 has Surridge, Daniel, painter and glazier, 12 William Street Wilson's 1818 edition does not list a Surridge.
