Hi There

Here is some more info regarding Ontong clan. However, his name is Ontong so I do not know how relevant this might be. This is purely for anyone who could provide more info:
Ontong Wiese (1799 - 1860) was born in Indonesia, but by the mysterious ways of providence he came to Bergen and became, in addition to being an apprentice, a sort of nursing and foster-child with Schwindt. He worked for many years as a company surgeon and later, also for many years, kept his own practice, both as a stationary and a travelling physician in the rural areas South and North of Bergen. His picture was painted by an unknown artist, though it may have been Lehmann. At the time, the picture may have belonged to the Museum of Bergen [Bergens Museum], but these days the museum only has the photography which is reproduced here(figure 2). Part of the picture is also used in Norwegian Physicians [Norges leger]. Wiese had many descendents. Maybe one of those would know the further fate of the picture? The picture can be viewed at: http://www.tidsskriftet.no/pls/lts/pa_lt.visSeksjon?vp_SEKS_ID=1009212
