It is stated in our family genealogy that Louisa J. Cox of N.C. and Indiana, married Leonard M. Throneburg [Thornburgh] of Indiana,on Oct. 20, 1869, he is my great-grand uncle, and their is no doubt that she didn't. It is also stated that they are buried in Carson Cemetery,as,I have always thought as husband and wife.Leonard died in 1904 and Louisa died sometime between 1880 and 1900.Does anyone know when she actually died? Did she die a Throneburg? I think not! While doing some census searches, I ran across the family of John Delph in the year 1880,town of Clinton, county of Vermillion,Indiana, and along with John and his children was his wife Louisa with four Thornburg children,Anna 9,Charlie 7, Joseph [Jackson?]4 and Clarence 5,listed as step-children.All of these children are the children of Louisa and Leonard M.So my questions are when did Louisa and Leonard get a divorce? Or did Leonard really die before 1904? Does anyone know or have knowledge of this family? I also believe John and Louisa had a son Eddie together ,maybe more, but i don't know. Can anyone do a goodwill look-up at the courthouse or library, to see if Louisa and Leonard divorced 1875-1878 ish? Or for a marriage record of a Louisa Throneburg and a John Delph. I'm not sure if it would be Vigo Co. or Vermillion Co. Ind. Thanks in advance for anyone's help. Sue Vogt
