Seeking info on a woman named Lydia Ann whom I believe may have been born a Jewell, dau of Bailey Jewell and Elizabeth (Douglas) of Sullivan Co. Lydia's first husband was Josiah H Tate whom she married sometime around 1840. They are found on the census of 1860 in Terre Haute, Vigo Co, IN with children: William Tate Betsy Tate Sarah Tate Julia Tate Mary Tate Joseph Tate Robert Tate On 2 Apr 1863 Lydia Ann Tate m. widower Thomas A Brookbank in Vigo Co, IN. They are found on the 1870 census of Honey Creek Twp, Vigo Co, IN. Would like to verify that Lydia is a dau of Bailey and Elizabeth Jewell and if there is a marriage record in Sullivan Co, IN or elsewhere in IN for Lydia to Josiah H Tate. Any help or info on these families will be gratefully appreciated. Will share data.
